Last Wednesday was Jay's last day of swimming, Loren was able to come for the big graduation and see Jay go underwater!

Class with Dad...

Today we had an open house from 11-1pm and then another showing at 4pm. Instead of coming in and out we decided to fill the day with some activities to keep us entertained. We started out with a class at Gymboree (for those of you who don't know its a place where they have fun children's classes) Jay had never been and it was so much fun having Loren there with him. Jay was having such a great time crawling as fast as he could from one activity to the next. Here are some sweet pictures of Dad and Jay...

The Nature Museum

Today we joined Katie, Piper and Owen at the Nature Museum in Lincoln Park. I think Jay is still a little small to really enjoy all that it offers but we definitely had a good time - here are some pictures...

One of the coolest parts of the museum was the butterfly exhibit. Jay loved watching all the butterflies fluttering around him. It was hard to capture them all flying thru the air so i just took a few snapshots when they landed

All that playing makes for some hungry kids...

Jay's First Haircut (kind of)

Today I took Jay to get his haircut. Not because it was so long and needed it but because a few weeks ago I decided to cut it and did a pretty bad job. After he got out of the bath this morning I decided it needed professional help! So we went up the street to a place called "Snippets". We got the first time special which included a certificate of first haircut, a little box to keep a lock of hair in and a DVD of the whole experience. It was really cute and he did great except for when the clippers came out. He did not like the loud noise and vibration so there were a few tears. But overall he had a lot of fun!
